Don't forget.....

I wanted to post this right away so not to forget it. There are no pictures. Tonight Emmah was placed in a time out, well Emmah is my challenging child we'll say. She always goes straight to "Mommy hold you" phase when she gets in trouble. I explained to her why she was there and I would come get her when it's done. This was the conversation between Paiyton and Emmah that I listened to from the next room:

Emmah: (crying) Paiyton I want my mommy

Paiyton: I know

Emmah: (still crying) Paiyton I want my Mommy to hold me

Paiyton: I know I know you do

Emmah: Paiyton I want my Mommy to hold me

Paiyton: Well Emmah Mommy is disappointed right now

Emmah: Silence........

I chuckled from the kitchen as I was hearing this conversation. I love my chickies and I am so thankful that even in the middle of an upset/time out time that there was still smiles and joy. It has been exhausting lately so I am thankful for these moments. When time was up I held my sweet little monkey and had lots of kisses.

What a Smile.....

My sweet girl brought home her first school picture. I know I'm partial but I think it turned out awesome. She is such my little lady. I love you Paiyton!

Apples and Pumpkins 2008

My Sweet Girls! Aunt Tara and the Carlton Chicky's
Well, this one is a bit late. At the end of October we went to the Apple Orchard with my family one Sunday afternoon. This has been a family tradition since I was a baby and always the same two orchards. They have hay rides, pumpkin patches, feeding farms to feed the animals, apple picking and much more. We all had a great time specially the kids. It took me a couple weeks with the hunting season to readjust to the large popularity of it up here (Tim does not hunt). I have been out of the Northern loop for a while. This was a fun day of memories with the girls and my family.
