Six Years.....YEAH

This has been the most amazing, challenging, HAPPY and REWARDING six years of my life. I feel so abundantly blessed and thankful to have such a wonderful husband who continuously loves me and works so hard for our family and for our country. I should mention that April 19Th was our 6Th anniversary and we were thankful just to be able to spend it together this year again despite the fact that we are living apart these days. As a matter a fact we spent two straight weeks together, it was wonderful (even the part when we were moving our entire house again...I'll post about that later though.) I never thought or imagined in my wildest dreams that God would so richly bless me with such an amazing husband. In the midst of our first year he protected Tim's life in Basra and than gave us a second little girl a year later. I am thankful for Tim's selflessness that he shows me each and every day and for his unconditional love. Not to mention the two most beautiful little girls. It still leaves me speechless how God provides the PERFECT mate for each of us. I don't even have the words for what I am feeling and how blessed I am. Thank you Lord for my husband and your continuous blessings on us!

Tub Time!

My Sweet little girls love to play in the bath tub.....of coarse what small child doesn't like the tub. The girls were having a blast in the tub a couple weeks ago and I took a couple shots of them playing. I have been slacking on pictures lately.

Update....

Hi y'all, I realized today that I had not updated anyone on how Tim did on his Chief's Exam back in January, mind you it takes till the end of March to get the results. So, in March we found out that Tim did very well on his exam and he will be putting in a "Package" (as the Navy calls it) in September of this year. The "Package" is for switching to Officer from the enlisted side of the Navy. He won't find out if they are accepting him till February of 2010, so we wait 5 months for those answers. I am so very proud of my husband and all his hard work and dedication to our family and country. Thank you all for your prayers for him back in January we are so thankful for friends and family that lift us in prayer.

My Little Sisters......

....wedding went well, mind you this was back on February 28Th and I am just now posting about it (no surprise, I know). It worked out well that the girls and I are living at home during this year for many reasons but this was one of them. I would not have enjoyed traveling to Michigan in February from Virginia...for one reason only...the weather and as no surprise there was a snow storm that week but than it warmed enough to melt most of it before the BIG day. Paiyton and Emmah were her flower girls and they did so well. They walked down together and tossed petals together. I wasn't sure how Emmah would do the day of with all the people watching her. Tim was in charge of making sure the girls went off without a hitch while I was their "Photographer", yes I said photographer. I have taken photography as a serious hobby since getting my professional grade camera last year but have only made it known to a few people as I still continue to learn more and TRY to have time for class's. I am LOVING it. I considered doing it right out of high school and went down the Automotive Industry path instead but am returning to what I really LOVE. The things to learn are never ending and I love that it is always changing the way you can do things and the things that you can do are endless. I do not have the advanced program yet but hope to have it soon which will make a huge difference as well. I am not that great at this point and I do NOT want to do weddings but I was trying to save my retired Dad money since he lives on a pension from GM and was paying for his last daughters wedding. Short nights......

....for poor Paiyton that is...the girls have been sharing a room since coming to my Dad's house to stay for the remainder time here in Michigan. Well, Emmah thinks it's party time ALL the time. I asked Paiyton if she wanted to share a room once we get down to Va Beach again and with a very quick reply she said NO, she wants her own room. She also said Mommy I want to sleep longer, Emmah always wakes me up. She is right my little Emmah is the culprit of waking us all most mornings. So my thoughts of them sharing a room permanently are over I suppose.

Disney On Ice....

.....a little girls heaven on earth. Paiyton and Emmah were so excited to go to Disney on ice and it was well worth it I must say, (though the little hand held lights are a bit pricey but again it is only once and a while we get to do these things for them). We went with my cousin Paula and her son Joey who also loved it. (It's not just for girls). Paiyton went as sleeping Beauty and Emmah as Ariel. There are more pictures that I need to get from Paula because they wouldn't let me take in my professional grade camera, that was a bit irritating but I understand. I need to get a smaller camera for these events. I have never seen SO many little girls dressed up like the princess's in my whole life it was too cute!

100 Days of School...

Back in February it was the 100 Day's of school, as most of you know. I am just now getting this post done. Paiyton was asked to do a craft for the 100Th day. So, she was given some choices by Mommy and this is the one she picked. 100 Noodles glued into shapes on a poster board. Emmah wanted to do it as well since Big Sis was doing it. It was than put proudly on display at school. Paiyton came up with doing the shapes out of the noodles on her own, she can be so creative. I love to watch her as she works on projects.

Hmmm.....which one do I eat first....

Ok, y'all I hope my child is not the only one to do this one. One Sunday morning about a month ago my sweet Emmah Grace was looking for an apple. I had just bought a whole bag the day before. She obviously couldn't decide which one to choose so she picked them ALL, all seven (7) of them. She nibbled on each one of them, here is a picture of five (5) of them, I found two more later on that day. Oh, my sweet little monkey girl.....she keeps me on my toes.
