Oh, How I Love This Man.....

I have lots and lots of other post's to come but tonight just a quick one. I am Soooooo excited that my wonderful husband is in flight to Michigan for a week long visit. The girls and I are missing him so very much, this is a needed visit for all. It has been six long weeks since we sent him off from the last visit. Despite seeing him by Web Cam most days it has still been a long time for the girls to not physically see him and hug him. They are SO excited
I am so thankful for such a wonderful husband and Daddy, he calls Paiyton every morning in the car on our way to school to tell her he loves her, miss' her and to have a great day at school. (He talks to Emmah too of coarse). Than in the evening before bed we see him by web cam or talk on the phone again and he talks to the girls and asks about their day and they fill him in on everything. I am thankful for the blessings of technology these days. Oh, how I love this loving, gentle, thoughtful Man!
Paiyton said to me tonight "Mommy is Daddy staying longer and longer and longer and longer and longer and longer this time?" I proceeded to tell her that Daddy has to go back to work next Monday and she was upset and said "Mommy I want to tell him that I want him to stay here longer and longer and longer and longer with us." I told her that would be a great idea to tell Daddy that and that I know Daddy wants to stay longer and longer and longer. This was a moment I didn't want to forget, 1) seeing the excitement and joy in the knowing that when she wakes up in the morning Daddy will be here, 2) her understanding and words for time of longer and longer and longer.....she must have said "and longer" twenty five times. My Sweet little Chickie.
My last thoughts are from this morning when Tim sent me this text message on my cell phone while he was at work:
"12 hours, 25 minutes and 00 seconds. 745 minutes or 44707 seconds until I see your beautiful face. I love You."
OH,HOW I LOVE THIS MAN!

First Lost Tooth.....

On September 11Th Paiyton lost her first tooth. Tim was saying good night to her and calls out to me from her room saying to come in that her tooth just fell out. (This was when he was here for that unexpected week visit.) So, I took her to the bathroom and put a cotton ball on her gums till it stopped bleeding. I was a bit shocked by this. I was thinking that is was to early being that it was only two weeks after she turned 5. I was also selfishly thinking my baby can't be loosing her baby teeth and starting kindergarten all in the same month! Lord, this is to much growing up all at one time for Mommy. I have since come to grips....I know...I know. Paiyton had fallen the week prior and hit her mouth on her bed and so I was thinking that maybe this tooth came out before it was suppose to due to the fall. I took her to the dentist and he said that it came out at the right time, that the fall probably helped it happen a little quicker but you could see the big tooth right below the gum line in the X-Ray. He also said it won't be to much longer and the other front lower tooth will come out soon. So we have now ventured into the loosing the baby teeth arena. Emmah tells us that Paiyton's teeth is broken but hers (Emmah's) is not broken. It is too funny to listen to her tell us this. Emmah showing me that her teeth are not broken.... I Love you my Big Girl Paiyton, many more firsts to come!

Pictures...Pictures....

Well, Paiyton and I worked on a picture board to hang in her room. The focus for the board was to do pictures of Daddy and of Her and Daddy. Paiyton misses Tim so very much and asks every day when is he coming home. She also asks if I am going to leave too, it breaks my heart. But back to the board, she sat with me and picked some pictures off the computer and we printed all that she wanted on her board and we went to work. It was fun to listen to her as she talked about each time and place where the pictures were taken and how she wanted to go back there again and do those things with Daddy again. Not sure the pictures do it much justice but here it is. Paiyton love love loves it...it hangs above her bed.

Prayer.....

Would you all please be in prayer for one of the teacher's at Paiyton's school, her husband passed away in a car accident this morning on his was to work. They also have four children ranging in age from college down to third grade. Thank you for your prayers for them and for the school staff and students. St. Stephen is a close knit Church/School family and this is affecting them as well.

Funny Boys......

Well, it has been a busy week, I can't believe it is Thursday already. This morning I stayed at the school to volunteer to help out with the "FUN RUN" for the morning. The kids get to do different obstacles and runs that they have asked for donations for. The first class to kick off the fun run was Paiyton's class, it was fun and just too cute watching the kindergarten class do this and of coarse they loved it and was asking if they could do it again tomorrow. When the 1st graders came out well lets just say there are some wild kids in that class..... they were funny though, two of the boys I was helping with the first obstacle were being very giggly and all of a sudden the one little boy says to me What do you have on your lips? I said lip gloss......he said oh, mean while the other one is still just giggling. I than asked him does your Mom where lip stick or lip gloss and he said no. Well, the two are still giggling and than he says to the other boy....I thought maybe she was a super model...I was laughing without them knowing I was...than he told me his thought.....I told him thank you but no I am not a super model I am a Mommy. This was all just too funny....I have been around many little boys over the years as well as baby sat boys and these two were just a hoot!
